When the Lord of the Universe makes His home in your home, everything changes. Everyone who enters your home will feel the difference. Your home will be like a magnet attracting what is good, healthy, and wholesome while repelling negativity, sickness and harm.

What is the key to having a healthy home filled with everything good God wants to give?

“You do not have because you do not ask God.” (James 4:2)

Let that truth sink in.

God says JUST ASK.

God is willing and able to make your home the safe refuge your family needs. He is willing to protect everyone in the family from all harm. He is willing to settle down in your home and make your home His home, so that your family can experience all of the wonderful benefits He wants to give.

“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” (Galatians 5:22-23, NLT)

Imagine that! God wants every person in your family to experience this wonderful fruit He alone can give! When we pray, we are asking God to bring heaven to earth.

“Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10).

Bring with the next powerful prayers heaven to earth - for your home.

Praying God's blessing and protection over your home is one of the greatest acts you can perform. By praying through your home, you are inviting God to protect those inside it and to make Him the priority in your lives.

If you are facing difficult times or strife within the home, a prayer walk through your home can cleanse the home spiritually and make it feel like a brand-new start. Praying while you walk through your home asks the Holy Spirit to be Lord of everyone who enters into your home and to protect your home.

You might also want to take some anointing oil (if you do not have any anointing oil you can use Olive Oil). In the Old Testament the Israelites made the sign of the cross on their doorways to avoid a plague of death. When death stalked Egypt, the sign of the cross made by blood was a symbol that the inhabitants belonged to the Lord.

“On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn of both people and animals, and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord. The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt…Take a bunch of hyssop, dip it into the blood in the basin and put some of the blood on the top and on both sides of the doorframe. None of you shall go out of the door of your house until morning.” (Exodus 12:12-13, 22 NIV)

When the Israelites made the sign of the Cross it was a picture of what the Lord Jesus was going to do years later to give us eternal life.  The Cross is the greatest way that God expressed His love for us. God’s Word reminds us that all have sinned and fall short of God’s expectations (Romans 3:23), and that the wages of our sin is death (Romans 3:24-26). But God’s free gift to us is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord by what He did on the Cross, being buried and rising again from the dead (Romans 6:23).  If we will confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, God will give us the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). We simply don’t know what the future holds, but we do know that God holds the future. One thing you don’t want to be uncertain about is your salvation. Today is the day to step across the line and make a commitment to Christ.

If you’re ready to do that, please pray:
"Jesus Christ, I ask you to come into my life and save me. I know that I have sinned and that I can’t save myself. I need you to be my Savior and I receive you as my Lord. I want to know you and learn to trust you. Please help me. In your name. Amen."
