"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you." (Isaiah 43:2)

Pray:
Lord, I lift (name of child or grandchild) up to You and ask that You would put a hedge of protection around him (her). Protect his (her) spirit, body, mind, and emotions from any kind of evil or harm. (1 Thessalonians 5:23) I pray specifically for protection from accidents, disease, injury, or any physical, mental, or emotional harm. I pray he (she) will make his (her) refuge “in the shadow of   Your wings” until “these calamities have passed by” (Psalm 57:1).

Hide him (her) from any kind of evil influences that would come against him (her), especially the Coronavirus.

Help him (her) to understand that You will be with him (her) wherever he (she) goes, and no matter what he (she) experiences, You will see him (her) through it.

I claim Your promise found in Your Holy Word:

“But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” (2 Thessalonians 3:3, NIV)

We call on Your name and mercy to stop this virus, not only for our nation but for the world. We pray for the scientists as they gather information and strive to create a vaccine to treat those infected. We ask for Your provision for Your people as we quietly trust You to meet our every need. We will not give in to fear because You are a Good God. Protect us today and every day, for Your glory.

In Jesus’ name I pray.
