“Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me, for in you I take refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.”
(Psalm 57:1, NIV)

Pray:
“Lord, I lift my family up to You and ask that You would put a hedge of complete protection around us. Protect our spirits, bodies, minds, and emotions from any kind of evil or harm. (1 Thessalonians 5:23)
I pray specifically for protection from accidents, disease, injury, or any physical, mental, or emotional harm. I pray that we will make our refuge “in the shadow of   Your wings” until “these calamities have passed by” (Psalm 57:1).

Hide us from any kind of evil influences that would come against us. Help us to understand that you will be with us wherever we go, and no matter what we experience, you will see us through it.

We claim your promise found in your Holy Word:

“But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” (2 Thessalonians 3:3, NIV).

Thank you that you never let us down, but you stick by us and protect us from all evil. We know that we need not fear the future because we see the way you have protected and provided for us in the past. In Jesus’ name we pray.”

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.” (Isaiah 43:2)

“yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.” (Habakkuk 3:18-19, NIV)
