Jesus is Knocking - Will You Answer?

I am an Assistant Principal in a remote village in Alaska that is closer to Russia than any major city in the US, and these are the kinds of things I pray for students as I see them in the halls or classrooms. Please pray these believing from your heart.

Pray:
“Lord, I pray that my (children/grandchildren) would experience Your peace and presence today, knowing that You have blessed them with everything they need to please You through Your Word and the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:3-14). Deliver them from any evil plan to rob them of life, or to steal away their uniqueness and the special contribution You have ordained for them to make in this world. You have said that, "The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. But I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full!" (John 10:10) May they not be a follower of anyone but You, and may they be someone who leads others into Your kingdom.

May the fruit of Your Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, meekness and self-control grow in them daily (Galatians 5:22-23). May they find their identity in You, view themselves as Your instrument, and know that they are complete in You (Colossians 2:10). Help them see themselves through the lens of You - with an amazing future and not a tainted past that has been forgiven by You (1 John 1:9).

Please teach my (children/grandchildren) to look to You for their future. You have promised that You have good plans for them (Jeremiah 29:11-13). May they understand it is "You who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to Your grace and purpose which was given to us before time began." (2 Timothy 1:9)
