Jesus is Knocking - Will You Answer?

Please take anointing oil or olive oil with you as you walk around and through your property. The key is not the exact words you say, but what you believe in your heart about the Lord and His willingness and ability to protect your family.

Read this Scripture out loud, please:

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” (James 1:17, NIV)

Pray:
“Lord, thank you for the money we have to pay our bills and provide for our family. Thank you for the work we have. We know that all belongs to you and we are entrusted with it during our time on this side of heaven. We ask that each decision we make, each dollar we spend, glorifies You.”

If you are laid off or currently out of work, you may want to pray:

“Gracious Lord, I want to work and provide for my family.You have promised to work everything together for my good,

“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28, NASB95)

I believe that you will provide for our needs during this time I am unemployed. Prepare me for my next job and lead me to it as I do my part. I claim your promise,

“I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.” (Psalm 37:25, NIV)

I do not want to grow lazy or discouraged in my pursuit of a job, so grant me strength during this season.”

If you run a business from home, here is an additional prayer you may wish to use:

“Heavenly Father, thank you for the opportunities that you have given to me. Please give me the wisdom to make decisions that are honoring to you. I trust in you as I work to be prosperous. I ask you to expand and enlarge my territory so that I can have a greater influence on others for good. I pray that you allow my business to grow and bless others. I join with Jabez as he prayed,

“Jabez cried out to the God of Israel,“Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.” (1 Chronicles 4:10, NIV)

In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” (Matthew 6:24, NIV)

“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:58, NIV)

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,” (Colossians 3:23, NIV)
