Jesus is Knocking - Will You Answer?

Please take anointing oil or olive oil with you as you walk around and through your property. The key is not the exact words you say, but what you believe in your heart about the Lord and His willingness and ability to protect your family.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-8, NIV)

Please make a commitment once and for all right now to dedicate your family and property to the Lord. It won’t take long. You may want to rededicate your family and home to the Lord from time to time in fresh ways, especially when you are experiencing times of crisis, conflict or trial.

“The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)

As you begin to bring heaven to earth for your home, please walk the perimeter of your property while you purposefully and intentionally dedicate it to the Lord. You can walk around your property in your mind if you are not physically present.

Read this Scripture out loud as you walk:

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Psalm 23, NIV)

Pray:
“Lord of the Universe, I thank You for giving us this place to live. Thank You that we are able to enjoy this home together. Protect this property from any harm, evil or destruction. We purposefully dedicate our family, this home and property to You and ask You to protect everyone who enters here. Keep us from all disease. Protect us from any hurt. Shield us from people and events that could damage our family and our home.
Thank You that You will do all that You have promised as our Shield, Protector, Stronghold and Provider. We love You for who You are and for what You do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

“I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies.” (Psalm 18:1-3, NIV)

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve…But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15, NKJV)
