Please take anointing oil or olive oil with you as you walk around and through your property. The key is not the exact words you say, but what you believe in your heart about the Lord and His willingness and ability to protect your family.

Please make this declaration of commitment out loud as you read:

“But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15, NIV)

Pray:
“Heavenly Father, we give you our hearts and promise that as Scripture says, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”. Please keep any negativity in word and deed away from us. Allow us to grow in you and be an encouragement to each other. Lord, I ask you to protect our family - our hearts, souls, minds - all of us. We give all of ourselves to you. Give us eyes to see others as you do and to serve others joyfully - especially in our home.

Remind us to keep Your Word in our hearts and always follow your commands. We give each and every area of our lives to you - our finances, our family, our home and all that is in them, our jobs, our hobbies, our relationships. We invite You to be at home in our hearts. May you find the home of our hearts comfortable, open and clean to Your presence. In Jesus' name. Amen.”

“But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15, NLT)
